An unmarked police truncheon or billy club crafted from turned hardwood with a dark-stained finish. This piece features a traditional ring-turned ribbed grip and a rounded pommel, characteristic of law enforcement tools from the late Victorian era through to the mid-20th century. There are no manufacturer stamps or patent dates present on the wood. The item measures approximately 14 inches (35.5 cm) in total length.
