A complete collection of six Royal Doulton hand-decorated miniature porcelain character jugs from “The Six Wives of King Henry VIII” series, expertly modelled by William K. Harper. The set comprises individual jugs depicting Catherine of Aragon (D7041), Anne Boleyn (D7042), Jane Seymour (D7043), Anne of Cleves (D7044), Catherine Howard (D7045), and Catherine Parr (D7046). Each piece is intricately detailed with period-accurate attire and features a handle incorporating the subject’s initials with gilded accents. Every jug is marked on the underside with the Royal Doulton lion and crown factory stamp, the subject’s name, the corresponding model number, and a hand-painted limited edition number 989. The collection is accompanied by its original Certificate of Authenticity, confirming it as number 0989 of a limited edition of 2,500, and is presented on a bespoke two-tiered wooden display stand with green felt surfaces. Each jug stands approximately 1.5 inches in height.
