Description
This vintage necklace, reflecting the Art Deco period, comprises a single strand of graduated round beads that appear to be butterscotch or egg yolk Baltic amber. The beads possess a vibrant, opaque orange-yellow colour and a high-lustre polished finish. The strand increases in diameter towards the centre and is fastened with a concealed screw-type clasp constructed from the same resinous material. No metal hallmarks are present. Length approximately 18 to 20 inches.
