Lot 109:
Description
Produced as a Norwegian folk art souvenir, this set consists of seven hand-painted nesting dolls crafted from turned wood. The figures feature a classic nesting mechanism where the two halves pull apart to reveal the next doll. No original box is present. The set dates from the mid-20th century and depicts figures in traditional Bunad attire, with the largest doll representing a figure from Bergen holding a commemorative plaque.
