Description
This pair of stud earrings features two marquise-shaped cabochons of chatoyant brown tiger’s eye. Each stone is set within a white metal mounting that appears to be silver, though it remains unmarked. The modernist design is characterised by two parallel metal bands wrapping around the centre of the gemstone, which is secured to an elongated, flat backplate. The earrings are equipped with post and butterfly-style friction backs for closure. The metal displays a light patina and minor surface wear consistent with age.
