Description
Produced by the maker Washi, this fixed-blade Japanese-style utility knife (Kogatana) is housed in a shirasaya mount. The single-edged carbon steel blade features a traditional chisel grind and a two-tone finish. The handle is crafted from light-coloured hardwood and is secured to the tang by a single brass pin. The blade features a hand-struck tang stamp consisting of two Japanese characters: 「和四」 (Washi). Blade length: 3.5 inches.
