An anonymous small-scale cast bronze sculpture of a standing horse, executed in an archaising style inspired by Chinese Tang Dynasty tomb figures. The horse is modelled with a powerful neck and sturdy proportions, featuring a detailed high-pommelled saddle over a quilted saddlecloth, secured by a breast collar and bridle. The figure is freestanding on its hooves without an integral or separate base.
