Description
This lot comprises three late Victorian or Edwardian era sentimental brooches, typical of the period’s mourning and sweetheart jewellery. No maker’s marks are visible. The first item is an oval sweetheart brooch in silver-toned metal with tri-colour gold-tone highlights, featuring an embossed Forget Me Not motif and a raised ribbon bow. The second is a Mizpah brooch in gold-toned metal with a scalloped frame and central banner, set with small dark round-cut gemstones, likely garnets or glass paste. The third is a bar brooch in tarnished metal featuring a central circle set with three small dark round-cut gemstones. No hallmarks are present. Dimensions and weight not provided.
