Description
An antique English Smoker’s Bow Windsor chair, also known as a Captain’s chair, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The chair is constructed with a solid elm saddle seat displaying a visible grain pattern. The design features a curved crest rail and horseshoe-shaped armrest supported by turned spindles. The base comprises four turned legs connected by a central H-stretcher. The seat surface shows visible dowel joinery.
