Description
This elegant formal dress cane features an ornate, globular silver pommel decorated with chased and engraved foliate scrollwork. The handle includes a carved section of natural Bone with knotted design, secured between two silver ferrules. The shaft is a sturdy, tapered hardwood, likely oak or ash, with a polished dark-brown finish and visible grain. Several small, partially rubbed hallmarks are located on the lower silver ferrule, indicating high-quality metalwork consistent with sterling silver.
