Description
A pair of fine bone china animal paperweights by the renowned English manufacturer Royal Crown Derby. The first figurine depicts an English Robin, expertly decorated in a traditional Imari-inspired palette of cobalt blue, iron red, and rich 22kt gold gilding. The base features the red Royal Crown Derby backstamp with the Roman numeral date code MMVI, indicating a production year of 2006, alongside a hand-painted red decorator’s mark. The second figurine is a Harvest Mouse, featuring a delicate polychrome pattern of blackberries, cherries, and wheat ears, finished with gold accents. The underside of the mouse displays several hand-painted decorator marks in red, green, and black, including the letters A, O, and L. Heights approximately 7cm and 5cm.
