Description
A lot of two distinct fixed-blade knives. The first is a Solingen hunting dagger manufactured by Friedrich Herder Abr. Sohn, featuring a polished steel double-edged spear-point blade and a dark, chequered synthetic composition handle. This piece is fitted with an S-curved steel crossguard and a polished metal ferrule, with the ricasso bearing the ORIGANA tang stamp. The second item is an unmarked decorative knife or letter opener featuring a single-edged steel drop-point blade and an intricately carved openwork floral scrollwork handle, likely of bone or ivory, with an engraved white metal ferrule. Blade lengths 15cm and 10cm.
