Lot 24:
Description
A fine pair of porcelain tableware pieces in the Royal Worcester tradition, comprising a lidded coffee pot and a matching creamer. Each vessel features a footed, urn-style body decorated with a shaded ochre and pale-yellow ground. The central motifs consist of highly detailed, hand-painted fruit still-lifes including peaches, pears, and berries, characteristic of the ‘Painted Fruit’ or ‘Orchard’ patterns. The pieces are heavily accented with gold-toned gilding on the high-arching handles, spouts, rims, and bases. The coffee pot is fitted with a matching domed lid featuring a ring finial. While no factory marks are visible, the style, palette, and execution are consistent with Royal Worcester production from the late 19th to early 20th century. Both Signed Coffee pot height: approximately 9 inches. Creamer height: approximately 5.5 inches.
