Description
A mid-century moulded wall figurine depicting a swallow in flight, of British manufacture. The object is composed of a ceramic or plaster body featuring a pale green base finish with a silver-toned metallic overcoat. The reverse is hollowed and fitted with a small wire loop for wall mounting. An impressed registration mark reading REG NO 840254 is visible on the underside of one wing, dating the design registration to 1944. This stylised avian form is characteristic of the decorative wall plaques popular in mid-20th century domestic interiors. Dimensions unavailable.
