Description
Unmarked, Sudanese ethnographic arm dagger. The hand-forged carbon steel blade features a prominent central ridge and multiple hand-chiseled decorative linear patterns and fullers running the length of the blade. The hilt is constructed with layered leather guards and a pommel, with the central grip section wrapped in authentic patterned monitor lizard or snakeskin. There is no tang stamp. The item is accompanied by a hand-tooled reddish-brown leather sheath featuring a panel of matching lizard skin and an integrated braided leather arm loop. Blade length approx. 19 cm.
