Executed in pen, ink, and watercolour wash on paper, this illustrative landscape depicts a tranquil village scene featuring a cluster of traditional cottages situated along a calm waterway. A large, mature tree with a textured trunk and light green foliage anchors the left foreground, while two small figures are rendered walking on a path adjacent to the buildings. The work is unsigned and undated. It is housed in a dark brown mat within a simple black-finished wooden frame.
