Description
A substantial Art Deco style scent bottle of geometric fan-form. The piece is expertly constructed from heavy, clear cut and polished glass, featuring integrated panels of deep amber glass that create a striking sunburst effect. The central rectangular body houses a suspended cylindrical reservoir and is surmounted by a faceted stopper that echoes the fan motif, set within a polished silver-toned metal collar. The entire vessel rests upon a bevelled rectangular pedestal base. While unsigned, the bottle displays high-quality lapidary work characteristic of late 20th-century decorative glass. Height: approximately 25.5 cm (10 inches).
