Description
A finely detailed limited edition character jug by Kevin Francis Ceramics, depicting the world-renowned operatic tenor Luciano Pavarotti. Modelled by Doug Tootle, the figure is shown seated in full concert dress, featuring a black tailcoat, white waistcoat, and black bowtie. He is depicted holding a single red rose in his right hand and his signature white handkerchief in his left. He sits upon a pink balustraded bench, with a scroll at his side inscribed with the title of the Donizetti opera L’elisir d’amore. Commissioned by the International Autistic Research Organisation. Hand-made and hand-painted in Staffordshire, England. Limited edition of 2,000, this piece is hand-numbered 161. Height approx. 22cm.
