Description
This contemporary studio pottery vase is crafted with a tall, rectangular body featuring rounded corners, a tapered shoulder, and a flared rim. The ceramic vessel is decorated with a vibrant two-tone glossy glaze; the upper portion displays a mottled turquoise-green colour that transitions into a solid pale yellow-tan base. A hand-painted dark blue ribbon-like motif is applied around the centre of the body, providing a graphic contrast to the reactive glazes. No maker’s marks or signatures are present on the exterior or base. The piece exhibits a modernist aesthetic, blending organic glaze effects with a structured geometric form.
