Description
A Royal Worcester porcelain figurine produced to commemorate the 80th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II in 2006. The figure is depicted in ceremonial dress, wearing a white diadem and a full-length pleated white gown. Over the gown is a voluminous, deep red glazed mantle featuring white fur-style trim at the shoulders and a long trailing train to the reverse. The attire is further detailed with a painted gold chain collar, an order suspended from a blue ribbon, a large star-shaped breast star, and a pink and white tassel. A single gilded shoe tip is visible at the front hem. The piece is finished with a high-gloss glaze throughout.
