Description
A vintage Lladró glazed porcelain figurine titled “Bashful Girl” (also known as “Girl with Sun Hat”), model number 5007, designed by sculptor Francisco Catala and produced between 1978 and 1998. The piece depicts a slender young woman in a graceful pose, wearing a long, muted-tan dress with a cinched waist and holding a large-brimmed white sun hat adorned with a pale blue ribbon and bow. The figurine is finished in the brand’s signature soft pastel palette with a high-gloss glaze and features characteristic muted grey-green tones in the hair. The base bears the underglaze blue factory stamp featuring the bellflower logo and “LLADRÓ ® / HAND MADE IN SPAIN”. Additional incised production marks include “F-23 S”, “TAJ”, and “M”, along with a handwritten “36” in black marker and a standard circular firing vent hole. Height: 24.8 cm.
