Description
A fine Lladro porcelain figurine titled Curious (also known as Curious Girl), model number 5009, from the Sun Hat Girls collection. This piece was designed by sculptor Francisco Catala and originally issued in 1978. The figurine depicts a slender young woman in a graceful leaning pose, dressed in a sleeveless pale green gown featuring a large, stylised brown bow at the lower back. She wears a wide-brimmed white sunhat adorned with a light blue ribbon tied at the reverse. The piece is executed in the classic muted pastel colour palette and high-gloss glaze finish characteristic of the Spanish manufacturer. Although factory marks are not visible in the provided images, the style and execution are consistent with authentic Lladro production. Height: 23 cm.
