Description
A vintage cast iron bullnose block plane of compact form. The casting is stamped with the model number 75. The tool features a cast iron body with remnants of a dark japanned finish, a steel cutter, and a lever cap secured by a thumb screw. The construction is designed for fine work and planing into corners or rebates.
Condition report:
The tool is in a condition consistent with age and use. There is visible surface oxidation and minor pitting to the metal surfaces. The original japanned finish exhibits significant wear and areas of loss.
