Description
A vintage benchtop jointer manufactured by D. B. Keighley (Machinery) Ltd. of Providence St. Works, Bramley, Leeds. The machine is constructed with cast iron infeed and outfeed tables and an adjustable fence, mounted on a blue painted cast metal base. A manufacturer’s label on the side includes the company name, address, and telephone number Pudsey 2736, with markings for New, Used, and Rebuilt. The item features a red adjustment knob and a metal safety guard over the blades.
Condition report:
The item shows significant signs of age and workshop use, including extensive surface oxidation on the cast iron surfaces and fence. The blue paint on the base is chipped and worn. There is a notable accumulation of sawdust and grime throughout the machine.
