Description
A trio of vintage split cane fishing rod sections by C. Farlow & Co. Ltd., likely comprising a single multi-piece fly rod. The sections are constructed from bamboo with metal ferrules and wire guides secured by black thread windings. The handle features a cork grip with metal reel seat fittings. The metal butt cap is engraved with the manufacturer’s information: C. FARLOW & CO. LTD., 10 CHARLES ST. ST. JAMES, 191 STRAND LONDON.

Condition report:
The item exhibits signs of significant age and use. The cork handle shows pitting and discoloration. There is a heavy patina to the metal components. Wear is present to the rod\'s finish and the guide wrappings.
