Description
A 20th-century studio pottery vessel of baluster form featuring a hand-painted aquatic scene. The decoration depicts stylised fish swimming amidst horizontal bands of green, cream, and ochre glazes. The flared neck and base are ornamented with geometric triangular and hatched patterns. The underside of the base bears an incised signature for LEFORT FRANCE accompanied by a numeric code and a partially legible black stamp indicating MADE IN FRANCE.

Condition report:
The glazed ceramic surface exhibits a prominent fine-network crazing throughout. There are minor areas of surface wear and small glaze chips consistent with the age of the piece.
