Description
A vintage Precimax dress watch featuring a silver sunburst dial with applied gold-tone baton hour markers and dauphine-style hands. The dial is signed with a stylized interlocking logo above the name Precimax, 17 Jewels, and Incabloc. A date aperture is positioned at the 3 o’clock position. The case is constructed from gold-tone metal, likely gold-plated or gold-filled. The watch is fitted with a 17-jewel mechanical movement, likely manual wind. It is presented on a modern black leather two-piece strap with a silver-tone pin buckle.
Case size: 34mm (excluding crown).
Condition report:
The watch is in fair vintage condition. The case shows significant wear to the gold plating, particularly on the sharp edges and the underside of the lugs. The acrylic crystal has numerous surface scratches and scuffs consistent with age and use. The dial exhibits minor spotting and light patina, with a small mark near the crosshair at 6 o\'clock. The strap is a modern replacement in good condition. The movement is untested and a full professional service is recommended.
