Description
A collection of two white metal rings. The first is a modernist bypass cocktail ring crafted in sterling silver. The design features a sculptural form with two broad, flat-section bands that bypass one another at the head. The metal displays a dual-texture finish, incorporating both brushed satin and polished surfaces. The inner shank is stamped with the 925 fineness mark for sterling silver. The second item is an ornate dress ring featuring a prominent shield-shaped head. The head is decorated with intricate, symmetrical openwork filigree depicting scrolled and floral motifs. This ring is 925 and features an oxidised patina that highlights the fine detail of the metalwork.
Condition report:
Both rings are in good condition. The modernist ring shows light surface scratches and minor oxidation consistent with age and wear. The filigree ring exhibits an intentional oxidised patina to the recessed areas of the design.
