Description
A modernist style pendant necklace featuring a teardrop-shaped sterling silver mount. The pendant is bezel-set with a large oval cabochon-cut Baltic amber stone of a deep cognac colour, displaying characteristic internal sun spangle inclusions. The pendant is suspended from a fine square-link box chain. The necklace is secured with a spring ring clasp. The reverse of the pendant mount is stamped with a 925 mark indicating sterling silver. A small oval metal tag is attached near the clasp.
Condition report:
The necklace is in good overall condition. There is minor surface wear and light oxidation to the silver components, primarily visible on the reverse of the pendant. The amber stone appears secure in its setting.
