Description
A souvenir diorama featuring three hand-painted die-cast metal figures and a sentry box, mounted on a grey plastic display base. The figures comprise a Yeoman Warder in ceremonial red and gold uniform holding a partisan, a trooper of the Household Cavalry in full dress uniform with silver-tone breastplate and plumed helmet, and a Foot Guard in red tunic and bearskin hat carrying a rifle. The black sentry box features a gold-tone ER monogram beneath a crown. The front of the base is fitted with a silver-coloured panel bearing a label printed with the word COLLECTION in a stylised serif font and Manufactured in London, England below. The figures and box are fixed to the base with screws and a push-nut visible on the underside. The back of the Yeoman Warder also features an ER monogram.
Condition report:
The figures are in good condition with minor instances of paint loss and rubbing, notably to the edges of the green bases and the Foot Guard\'s rifle. The sentry box shows light surface wear to the paint. The plastic base is structurally sound but exhibits minor surface scuffing and accumulated dust.
