Description
A pair of framed entertainment-related prints. The first is a promotional print for the British television series Inspector Morse, depicting actors John Thaw and Kevin Whately alongside the character’s Jaguar Mark 2 car. This print features facsimile signatures of the lead actors and executive producer James D. Gray. It is set in a black wood-effect frame with a white card mount. The second is an advertising print for Swan Vestas matches, featuring a monochrome image of Hollywood actor Gary Cooper holding a matchbox and the slogan Britain’s favourite old flame. It is presented in a light-coloured frame with a cream mount. Both items are glazed.
Condition report:
The Inspector Morse print is in good overall condition. The Swan Vestas advertisement shows signs of age, with visible foxing and discolouration to the card mount. The print itself has some vertical surface marks. The frame for the second item shows some light wear and surface marks.
