Description
This lot consists of a large assortment of writing instruments including fountain pens, rollerballs, and ballpoint pens. Notable pieces include a Caran d’Ache Madison pen with a marbled black and white resin barrel and gold-toned trim, presented in its original black case with a red lining and manufacturer tag. A Campo Marzio Roma 1933 silver-toned pen is included in its original orange branded box. There is a three-piece Styb set comprising grey-bodied pens with gold-toned accents in a branded case with a quality control slip. A slim silver-toned pen with gold-toned trim is housed in a wood-effect presentation case. A Zenith Endovascular Graft promotional pen is contained within a silver-toned hard case. The collection also includes a large quantity of loose pens and others contained within a plastic bag. These include a burgundy resin fountain pen and a teal resin fountain pen, both with visible gold-toned nibs. Various other pens in yellow, orange, green, and blue plastic and metal bodies are present, some featuring arrow-style clips. The materials used throughout the lot include resin, base metal with chrome and gold-tone plating, and plastic. Approximately 50+ pieces in total.
Condition report:
The cased and branded items generally appear to be in good to very good condition with light shelf wear to the boxes. The loose pens show varied condition from good to well-used, with expected signs of wear including surface scratching, minor brassing to metal trims, and some ink staining. All items are sold as seen; filling systems and refills have not been tested and may require replacement or servicing.
