Description
An assortment of commercial-grade glass cheese and spice shakers, in styles commonly utilised in pizzeria or buffet service environments. The collection comprises multiple forms, including bulbous ribbed glass bodies and tall cylindrical glass bodies. The majority of the items are fitted with chrome-plated perforated metal shaker lids designed for the dispensing of coarse seasonings such as oregano, parmesan cheese, or dried chilli flakes. One unit features a red plastic lid. Several of the shakers contain dried herb contents. The items are presented in a blue industrial plastic transport crate. The designs are consistent with those produced by commercial kitchenware manufacturers such as Tablecraft.
Capacity: Approximately 6 oz (177 ml) per shaker.
Condition report:
The collection is in used condition, showing typical surface wear and tarnish to the metal components consistent with use in a catering environment. Many shakers contain residual food contents and several metal lids exhibit surface oxidation and tarnish.
