Description
Subbuteo Table Soccer Club Edition boxed set, manufactured by Subbuteo Sports Games Ltd, circa early 1990s. The set includes two complete teams of figures on weighted bases, with one team in an all-white kit and the second team in a blue and white kit with a striped chest band. Additional components comprise two goalkeeper figures attached to handheld rods, two plastic goals with red netting, and two white footballs. The set further contains a green felt playing surface, six yellow corner and halfway flags, and an instructional pamphlet. The items are housed within the original pictorial cardboard box which features a green plastic moulded inner tray for component organisation. The box lid displays action photography of professional players from the early 1990s era, including kits resembling those of Leeds United and Sampdoria. The Subbuteo logo is printed in red within a white oval on the lid and sides.
The box measures approximately 20 inches in width and 15 inches in height.
Condition report:
The original cardboard box exhibits moderate wear consistent with age, including scuffing to the surfaces and creasing to the edges and corners. The internal green plastic tray remains intact. The playing figures, goals, and accessories appear to be in good used condition. The green felt pitch and instructional leaflet are present.
