Description
This lot comprises an assortment of family games and puzzles from various manufacturers. The collection is led by a Spin Master 10-in-1 Game Set in its original retail box, which features a wooden multi-tiered cabinet for playing Chess, Draughts, Backgammon, Chinese Checkers, Mancala, Insanity, Mill, Noughts and Crosses, Pick Up Sticks, and Roll Em. Also included is a multi-game compendium housed in a green textured leatherette carry case with a printed backgammon board on the interior lid, containing a set of cream-coloured double-six dominoes, a wooden cribbage board, and two sealed decks of Butterfly brand standard playing cards (Model PR-1002). A folding wooden game board is present, decorated with an exterior chessboard pattern and inlaid marquetry-style borders. The card game selection features a Piatnik Florentin double-deck set for Bridge, Rummy, or Canasta in a decorative gold-toned box (No. 2278, Vienna, Austria), three Top Trumps packs including Warships by Winning Moves, England Rugby Heroes, and Rally Cars Series 2, an Arrow Games Snap/Donkey set, and a pack of Marlboro branded cards. The lot is completed by two boxed Vintage Collection Mini Puzzles featuring Cinderella and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good, used condition throughout. The Spin Master retail box shows visible shelf wear, scuffing, and minor crushing to the corners. The wooden game boards and leatherette case exhibit light surface wear and minor marks consistent with age and previous use. Several card decks, including the Butterfly brand cards, remain in their original factory seals. This lot is sold as viewed; the completeness of all multi-component sets has not been individually verified.
