Description
This collection consists of an assortment of vintage and antique collectibles including stationery items, horological instruments, and decorative objects. Stationery and desk accessories feature a wooden folding yardstick marked for The Singer Manufacturing Company, a turned wood cylindrical container with a matching cap suitable for pencil leads or needles, and a stirrup-style frame with a brown leather inset. A ceramic toast rack marked for Lurpak featuring the Douglas character is also present. Metalware includes a large rectangular tin with an embossed tavern scene to the lid and sides, a circular silver-tone compact with floral scrolling, and a small brass-tone dish. The horological items comprise two open-face pocket compasses, a pocket watch, two miniature desk clocks, and two cork bottle stoppers with inset compasses. Jewellery and objects of vertu include a pair of crown-shaped brooches with purple velvet centres in a presentation box, a gilt Elizabeth Tower souvenir charm, and a small glass scent bottle with a silver-coloured screw cap. Decorative pieces include a cast metal Egyptian Bastet cat figurine, a purple glass bud vase, a framed miniature print of a garden scene, and a painted Noddy figure.

Condition report:
The items exhibit age-related wear, surface patination, and minor oxidation consistent with vintage collectibles. The tavern tin shows some loss to the decorative finish. The pocket watches and clocks are currently untested for timekeeping.
