Description

A modern reproduction of a 1933 pattern SS (Schutzstaffel) service dagger, in the style of those produced by Denix. The dagger features a black contoured composite grip inset with a silver-coloured eagle and swastika emblem and a circular SS runes medallion at the pommel end. The crossguards and pommel nut are constructed from cast metal with a bright, high-polish chrome finish. The double-edged steel blade features an etched inscription in Gothic-style script reading Meine Ehre heißt Treue, translating to My honour is loyalty. No manufacturer marks, Solingen logos, or RZM codes are present on the blade or fittings. The dagger is housed in a black scabbard featuring a textured leather-effect body with matching high-polish throat and chape fittings.

Total length in scabbard: approximately 14.5 inches (37 cm).

Condition report:

The item is in very good cosmetic condition. The metal fittings retain a high-gloss finish with minimal surface marks. The blade and grip are well-preserved. This is a contemporary commemorative or reenactment item and does not possess the age or patina associated with period-original examples.
