Description
A limited edition jointed teddy bear produced by Dean’s Rag Book Co Ltd to commemorate the 9th anniversary of the manufacturer’s partnership with the QVC shopping channel, representing the years 1995 to 2004. The bear is made from a long-pile, mottled dark brown and black mohair-style plush and is fully jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. It features fixed black eyes and a hand-stitched black thread nose and mouth. The bear is presented with its original yellow satin neck ribbon printed with DEAN’S / QVC 9th Anniversary. A circular black and gold-toned metal chest tag is present, embossed with DEAN’S LIMITED EDITION. The right paw pad is embroidered in gold-coloured thread with the dates 1995 and 2004. A white fabric label is attached to the left paw pad, bearing the name Dean’s Rag Book Co Ltd and the location Pontypool, Wales.
Height: approximately 40.5 cm.
Condition report:
The bear is in good, clean condition throughout. The plush pile is thick and shows no visible signs of wear or balding. The paw pads are well-preserved, and all original tags and ribbons are present and in good order. No visible repairs or restorations are evident.
