Description
A collection of vintage British motoring and service association radiator grille badges. The assortment includes a hexagonal Automobile Association (AA) badge featuring the early winged logo and stamped membership number V162409. Also present is a Royal Automobile Club (RAC) badge with a blue and white central disc beneath a king’s crown. A second Automobile Association (AA) badge of a later style features a yellow backing and the stamped membership number 3C98782. The collection further includes a shield-shaped Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) badge with enamelled stripes and a central eagle-on-globe motif, and a square National Breakdown badge featuring a red tow-truck logo. These items are constructed from chrome-plated metal with various enamel, plastic, or printed inserts.

Condition report:
All items exhibit signs of age-related wear and exposure. Visible pitting, oxidation, and surface corrosion are present on the chrome-plated frames. The RAFA badge has significant loss to the black enamel section. The earlier AA badge shows heavy surface tarnish. The yellow insert on the later AA badge shows slight discolouration. Mounting hardware is partially present on some items.
