Description

An assortment of British commemorative medals, coins, and organisational badges, housed in a decorative gold-tone metal tin. The collection includes awards from the Methodist Junior Missionary Association (JMA), featuring a black-finished Maltese cross badge with JMA in the central medallion and for Jesus inscribed on the lower arm, alongside four wing-shaped service bars dated 1936, 1937, 1938, and 1939. Royal commemoratives comprise a large gold-toned medal for Sir Ralph Williams J.P. First Mayor dated 21st June 1887, several King George V and Queen Mary Silver Jubilee medals from 1935 in both silver and gold tones, and an Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee 1952-2002 coin. Commercial and sporting items include a large silver-tone Duckhams Oils 80th-anniversary medal for 1899-1977 and a bronze-tone shooting award featuring crossed rifles and a target. Other small tokens and badges are present, including a further JMA pin with a blue and orange ribbon.
