Description
A collection of model railway accessories and die-cast toys. The group includes a Hornby Skaledale R8742 Coal Drop Ramp I set, comprising a painted polyresin building and a separate brick-effect ramp section with a simulated coal load, housed in the original manufacturer’s box.
Included are die-cast vehicles in original window boxes. One model is a Citroën-Kégresse P17 half-track bus in yellow livery with a black chassis and tracks, attributed to the Lledo Days Gone series. Another is a Morris Minor 1000 van in yellow Automobile Association (AA) livery, with PATROL AA SERVICE markings on the side, attributed to Lledo or Corgi.
The lot also contains a vintage lithographed tinplate toy garage. The exterior features Auto MATIC GARAGE and PRESS TO OPEN lettering on the facade. It incorporates a mechanical press to open door function.
Measurements:
Hornby box: approx. 20 cm width
Tinplate garage: approx. 13 cm width
AA Patrol van: approx. 9 cm length.
Condition report:
The items are in good collectible condition. The Hornby Skaledale set and die-cast vehicles remain in their original packaging. The tinplate garage shows light age-related wear and minor surface scratches to the lithography, consistent with age. The mechanical garage door mechanism is operational.
