Description
A collection of vintage mid-20th-century parlour games, primarily of British manufacture. The lot includes a Spear’s Games Tell Me educational quiz game featuring a mechanical spinner and printed cards. A Chad Valley Roulette game is present, containing a plastic wheel and printed layout, marked Made in England. The group also contains a Lotto or Housey Housey set with ninety wooden numerals, a WH Smith Club Dominoes set with metal spinners, and a Traditional Parlour Games double-six dominoes set in a litho-printed tin. Materials used across the collection include litho-printed cardboard, wood, tin, and plastic components. All games are housed in their original printed boxes or cases.

Condition report:
The collection shows varying degrees of age-related wear throughout. The Chad Valley Roulette box is in poor condition with crushing and a large tear to the right-hand side. The Lotto box exhibits edge wear, paper loss, and scuffing to the lid. The Tell Me box shows light staining and foxing. The WH Smith dominoes box has general shelf wear and scuffing to the edges. The dominoes tin is in good condition with minor surface scratches. The completeness of internal components has not been verified.
