Description
A vintage miniature diatonic button accordion of German manufacture. The instrument features a wooden body with black-painted end plates and red-painted edges. The face of each end plate is decorated with gold-toned embossed paper featuring a textured foliate pattern. The bellows are constructed from red-pleated material. On the melody side, there are eight metal-capped buttons arranged in a single row, and the bass side features two larger metal-capped buttons. The front panel above the melody buttons is embossed with the text ACCORDEON MADE IN GERMANY. The construction includes metal corner protectors and a latch mechanism. A piece of green fabric ribbon is attached to one side.

Condition report:
The accordion is in fair to good vintage condition with signs of age and play-wear. There is noticeable rubbing and minor loss to the gold decorative paper, particularly around the edges and corners. The metal corner brackets and buttons show signs of oxidation and pitting. The wooden end plates exhibit minor scuffs and paint loss. The bellows appear intact but are stored in a compressed state. The internal reeds and overall playability have not been tested.
