Description
A decorative model of a Volkswagen Beetle, constructed from painted sheet metal with a deliberately distressed finish. The car features a two-tone red and cream colour scheme. Mounted on the roof is a rack carrying two surfboards decorated with blue, yellow, and white stripes, secured with cord. The model includes simplified metal detailing such as bumpers, windscreen wipers, and door handles. The wheels are static and finished with white-wall tyres. The item is designed for display and does not contain a clockwork or friction mechanism. No maker marks or labels are present.

Condition report:
The model is in good decorative condition. The weathered finish, including simulated rust and paint chips, is part of the original design. There is a general accumulation of dust and surface dirt throughout, particularly on the interior and in crevices. The cord securing the surfboards shows minor fraying.
