It is fitted with silver-tone metal corner protectors, two flip latches with integrated locks, and a black plastic handle. The interior is lined with a light tan checked paper. Two original keys are included. The smaller vanity or train case is finished in a tan woven-textured vinyl with a single central silver-tone metal latch and a rounded brown handle. The interior is lined with a dark mauve fabric and contains two elasticated bellows pockets on the inner lid. There are no visible maker’s marks or serial codes present on either piece.
Large suitcase height: approximately 42 cm
Large suitcase width: estimated 56 cm – 61 cm.
Condition report:
Both suitcases are in fair to good vintage condition consistent with age and use. The larger suitcase shows scuffing and wear to the exterior edges and corners. The silver-tone hardware exhibits surface pitting and tarnishing. The paper lining is intact with minor signs of use. The vanity case shows light wear to the textured exterior and tarnishing to the metal latch. The interior fabric remains clean and well-preserved. Latches and locks appear functional.
