Description
An assortment of items comprising scientific instruments, advertising memorabilia, and decorative pieces. The collection includes a black and white plastic Homepride Fred advertising figure with embossed HomePRIDE text and a pink Whatever It Takes presentation box featuring artwork donated by Pink. Scientific and nautical instruments include a black-cased prismatic compass with a liquid-damped dial and integrated spirit level in a nylon pouch, two circular brass pocket instruments in a velvet-lined wooden box, a traditional metal boatswain’s call pipe, and two sports whistles. An MSC Italian Cruises branded compass is housed in a square metal presentation tin marked Crocere MSC Italiane. Decorative objects feature a silver-plated Shudehill Giftware photo frame, a cased cake server with a faceted clear acrylic handle, and various trinket boxes including a gold-toned box with a floral ceramic lid, a green metal box with Chinoiserie decoration, and an etched brass box depicting a bird. Also present is a lithographed Songster Needles tin, two wooden rulers (one bearing the Singer trade mark), a wooden tambourine frame, and an intricately carved wooden double-bore wind instrument with geometric patterns.

Condition report:
The items are generally in good vintage condition. The tambourine frame is missing its head. There is light surface wear and scuffing to the plastic Homepride figure, particularly on the bowler hat. The metal and brass boxes show some surface oxidation and age-related patina. The prismatic compass and cruise memorabilia compass appear to be in functional condition with good optical clarity to the prismatic lens.
