Description
This collection consists of various items themed around the works of Beatrix Potter, produced in the late 20th century. The Wedgwood Peter Rabbit nursery set is crafted from creamware earthenware and includes a circular porringer bowl and a two-handled baby mug. Both pieces feature transfer-printed illustrations based on the original Beatrix Potter drawings. The bowl contains text around the rim beginning: Then old Mrs. Rabbit took a basket and her umbrella, and went through the wood to the baker’s. She bought a loaf of brown bread… The set is contained within its original illustrated cardboard box with a protective polystyrene insert.
The board game is titled The World of Beatrix Potter Paths and Burrows (or Snakes and Ladders), manufactured by The Traditional Games Company Ltd and copyrighted in 1988 by Frederick Warne and Co. The game is housed in a square box with a maroon lid and includes four painted resin playing figures representing Peter Rabbit, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail, each with a felted base. Also included is a small terracotta-style pot and a white drawstring bag.
The literary component of the lot comprises two small-format hardback books published by F. Warne and Co, housed in a decorative slipcase marked CN 8293. The visible volume is titled The Tale of Ginger and Pickles.

Condition report:
The ceramic bowl and mug are in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of repair. The original Wedgwood cardboard packaging shows significant wear, including surface staining, creasing, and small tears to the corner flaps. The board game box lid exhibits minor shelf wear and rubbing to the edges, but the resin playing pieces remain well-preserved. The book slipcase shows surface dirt and edge wear, while the books themselves appear to be in good condition.
