Description
An assortment of vintage and antique small collectibles and curiosities. The collection includes a miniature brass miner’s lamp, an hourglass housed in a brass frame, and a square glass inkwell featuring a metal flip lid. Metal figurines are present, including a small brass pig and a silver-toned rabbit attached to a cream-coloured plastic ring. Desktop accessories comprise a magnifying glass with a circular wooden frame and a silver-toned shoe-shaped object. Textile and leather items include a small leather coin purse and a larger metal-framed box with an embroidered petit-point floral cover. Souvenir and commemorative items consist of a small circular frame containing a monochrome photograph of a coastal scene inscribed with South Pier Blackpool, and a thimble marked for Skyline Drive Shenandoah National Park VA. Additional pieces include a silver-toned ladies’ wristwatch with a link bracelet, a small brass cylindrical torch, a metal whistle, and a circular metal pill box with relief decoration.

Condition report:
The collection exhibits varying degrees of age-related wear. Metal surfaces show tarnishing and surface oxidation, particularly on the brass and silver-toned items. The leather coin purse shows significant wear and cracking. The embroidered fabric on the box cover is frayed and worn. Surface scratches are present on the glass elements and plastic ring. The wristwatch and torch are untested for functionality.
