Description
An original mid-20th-century clear glass motor oil dispensing bottle produced for Esso. The vessel features a cylindrical body with vertical fluting and a central rectangular panel containing the embossed brand name Esso, featuring a cursive initial E. The shoulder is embossed with the text Contents One Pint, denoting the capacity in Imperial measure. The neck is formed with a multi-stepped profile, designed to accommodate a detachable metal pouring spout. The clear glass exhibits characteristics of period manufacturing.

Condition report:
The bottle is in good vintage condition. It is free from significant chips, cracks, or structural damage. There is visible internal cloudiness and residue consistent with its original function as an oil dispenser. Surface scuffing and shelf wear are present, particularly to the base.
