Description
This lot features two formal black wool felt hats including a bowler and a top hat. The bowler hat is constructed from stiffened black wool felt with a rounded crown and a curled brim finished with black grosgrain ribbon edging. A matching black grosgrain ribbon band is set around the base of the crown. The interior is lined with black satin fabric and features a black sweatband. The crown lining is printed in gold with the logo Beyond Retro and a central monogram of the letters B and R. The interior sweatband is stamped in gold with the text Hand Made and 100% Wool. The top hat is made of stiffened black wool felt with a tall, flat-topped crown and a curled brim. It features a wide black grosgrain ribbon band at the base of the crown. The interior includes a black sweatband with a small ribbon bow at the rear and contains a white foam form. No manufacturer marks are visible on the top hat.

Condition report:
Both hats exhibit surface lint and dust consistent with storage and would benefit from light brushing. The bowler hat is in good used condition with no significant structural defects visible. The top hat shows a visible white residue mark or scuff on the interior black sweatband, and the white interior foam form shows light soiling and minor indentations.
